On Friday, August 8, 2008, at 4:50 A M.,
officers from the Santa Monica Police
Department responded to the 1200 block of
Ashland Avenue regarding a report of a
residential robbery that occurred earlier
that morning, at about 2:45 A.M. The
elderly victim awoke to the sound of an
intruder who was inside her residence. The
suspect rummaged through her house and stole
several personal items. Detectives have not
verified how the suspect entered the
residence.
The
suspect is described as an African American
male, wearing dark clothing with a dark mask
covering his face.
