On Saturday, May 10, 2008, at
6:07 p.m., officers from the Santa Monica
Police Department responded to reports of
‘shots fired’ in the area of the 2300 block
of Cloverfield Blvd. When officers arrived,
they found two male Hispanic juveniles. One
of the juveniles had suffered a non
life-threatening gunshot wound and the other
juvenile was not injured. The Santa Monica
Fire Department paramedics responded and
later transported the victim to a local
hospital.
The first suspect is
described as a male Hispanic, 18-20 years
old, 5’06”, 150 pounds, possibly having a
goatee, wearing dark clothing, a black
hooded sweatshirt and armed with a dark
handgun.
The second suspect is
described as a male Hispanic, 17-20 years
old, 5’05”, 160 pounds, wearing dark
clothing and a dark hooded sweatshirt.
