The Santa Monica Police Department will be
conducting a Sobriety/Drivers License
checkpoint on October 26th 2007.
Funding for this program was provided by a
grant by the Office of Traffic Safety,
through the National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration. Officers from the Santa
Monica Police Department will be contacting
drivers in the 2500 block of Lincoln Blvd in
Santa Monica to confirm their sobriety and
drivers license status. This is the first of
several DUI/ Drivers License check points to
be conducted over the next 12 months.
The Santa Monica Police Department reminds
drivers if you plan on drinking have a
designated driver or call a cab. For more
