On Thursday, May 17, 2007, at approximately 12 A.M., Santa Monica Police Officers responded to the parking lot north of the Santa Monica Pier in response to a stabbing that just occurred. The victim, an adult male, sustained multiple stab wounds in the torso and back. He was treated at the scene by Santa Monica Fire Department personnel and transported to an area hospital where he is in guarded condition.
The eight suspects left the area on foot and were located in the beach parking lot in the 1100 block of Pacific Coast Highway. Five adult males and a one juvenile male were identified as being involved in the incident. The six suspects were transported to the Santa Monica Jail and were charged with attempted murder.
The below adult suspects were arrested and booked at the Santa Monica jail for attempt murder and their bail has been set at $500,000:

At the time of this release, the reason for the fight and subsequent stabbing is not known. And the weapon has yet to be located. The investigation is continuing.
