On October 21, 2006, 9:57 pm, Santa Monica Police responded to the 2700 block of Pico Blvd. regarding calls of shots fired. When officers arrived at the location, they made contact with the victim who had received a non-life threatening gunshot wound to her right leg. The victim, Female, Black, 17 of Santa Monica stated that she was walking into an apartment complex when she was shot. The victim was treated at the scene by paramedic and was transported to a local hospital.
The victim was not able to provide any suspect description.
