On October 11, 2006, Santa Monica Police arrested a suspect wanted for a child annoyance incident that occurred on October 10, 2006, in the 900 block of 20^th Street. The suspect has been identified as Charles Evien Maxwell, M/W 43.  Maxwell was arrested in the 900 block of 21^st Street.  He was booked at the Santa Monica Jail and charged with trespassing and child annoyance.  Maxwell was also wanted by the State of Nevada on a fugitive warrant for failing to register as a sex offender.  No bail.
