On June 9, 2006, Santa Monica Police Detectives arrested Sergio Abrego, Male, Hispanic, 23 of Palmdale, for armed robbery, residential burglary, and parole violation.  Abrego was arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on May 29, 2006, at 6:00 pm, in the 200 block of Bay Street.  Evidence recovered at the residential burglary lead to the identification of Abrego.

On June 13, 2006, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office filed armed robbery charges against Abrego.
