On June 1, 2006, at 7:14 pm, Santa Monica Police responded to the 2000 block of Cloverfield Blvd. regarding a call of shots fired. When officers arrived they spoke to the victim who said he was seated in his vehicle when he saw the suspect in his rear view mirror. The victim saw the suspect holding a gun and ducked down in the passenger seat and heard several shots. Apparently, one of the of the bullets went threw the rear window. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a Male, Hispanic, juvenile, wearing a hat or watch cap, white “T” shirt, and baggie blue pants. Preliminary investigation indicates this incident is gang related.
