On January 24, 2006, at 4:02 pm., Santa Monica Police responded to the 1000 block of Ocean Ave regarding a death investigation.  Officers entered the residence and found the deceased inside his residence. The decedent is identified as Christopher Penn, Male, White, 40 of Santa Monica.   

Preliminary investigation revealed no obvious signs of foul play and the cause of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
