On January 12, 2006, at 8:19 pm, Santa Monica Police responded to the 2700 block of 6th Street regarding a check the status call. Apparently the caller was concerned about his friend who was described as being despondent over personal matters. The subject refused to talk to officers and for his safety the Crisis Response Team was notified and attempted to make contact with the resident. No contact was made.
On January 13, 2006, at 12:40 am, officers took the resident into custody and transported him to a local hospital for psychological evaluation. The subject is described as a Male, White, 47 of Santa Monica.
