On August 4,
2005, at 4:30
p.m., the Santa
Monica Police
Department
responded to 14th
Street and Pico
Blvd regarding a
traffic
accident.
Preliminary
investigation
indicates Party
1’s vehicle was
driving
southbound on 14th
Street
approaching Pico
Blvd. Party 1’s
vehicle made a
right turn and
struck a vehicle
in the left turn
lane of
eastbound Pico
Blvd and two
additional
vehicles in the
number 1 lane of
eastbound Pico
Blvd. After
this collision
the vehicle
struck a
building on the
north side of
1300 block of
Pico Blvd.
No one was
injured in the
traffic
accident.
The driver M/W,
85 of Santa
Monica was
interviewed at
the scene and
released. The
cause of the
collision is
under
investigation.
