On February 8, 2005, at 12:39 p.m. Santa Monica Police responded to the 1100 block of Pine regarding a burglary that occurred one hour ago.  When officers arrived they spoke to the victim who said she heard a knock at the front door and opened it. The subject at the front door asked the victim a question and after she replied, she closed the door.  The victim looked out of her front window and saw the subject walking eastbound on Pine Street.  The victim continued watching television and about 30 minutes later walked into her bedroom and realized that she had been burglarized.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect cut her window screen and entered the residence.  Once the suspect was inside, he entered the bedroom and removed some jewelry and some coins.  The victim did not see anyone inside her residence during the incident.

The subject who knocked on the front door is described as a Male/, possible Armenian, 35 yrs of age, medium weight, fair skin complexion, dark brown hair, “spikey” on  top, cut short on the sides, having several keys on a round clip on his right side, wearing a dark “T”-shirt.
