RESIDENTIAL ROBBERY
December 24, 2004
 
 
On December 23, 2004, at 3:01 p.m., Santa Monica Police Department responded to the 2900 block of 11th regarding a residential robbery that occurred 20 minutes ago.  Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects entered the residence through an unlocked door.  While inside the residence they took several items and prior to leaving fired a shot into the floor of the residence.  No one was injured.  Suspects fled in the victim’s vehicle.   

Suspect 1 is described as a M/B, 20’s, 6’1, thin, having a goatee wearing blue jean and a blue and white sweater armed with a handgun.  Suspect 2 is described as a M/B, 20’s, 5’10, having a shaved head, dark complected, wearing a dark hooded denim jacket and baggy jeans armed with a handgun.  Loss is an unknown amount of U.S. Currency, several Christmas gifts and the victim’s vehicle.

Vehicle taken is described as a 2001, Daewoo, Lanos, sedan, green in color, with California License plate 4PBE878.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to call the Santa Monica Police Department at 310-458-8491.  Callers who wish to provide anonymous information may also call the We-Tip national hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME (27463).   Callers with information that leads to an arrest and conviction become eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
