SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER
November 19, 2004
 
 

On November 19, 2004, at approximately 1:00 p.m., David Darnell Brown, a Hip Hop entertainer also known as “YOUNG BUCK”, with his attorney present, surrendered himself at Santa Monica Police Headquarters.  Mr. Brown was arrested for one count of Attempted Murder and one count of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and was booked at the Santa Monica Jail. His bail has been set at $500,000.

After arrest and booking, Mr. Brown posted bail and was released.  David Darnell Brown is scheduled to appear in Los Angeles Superior court for an arraignment hearing on December 20, 2004, at the LAX Airport Courthouse, located at 11701 South La Cienega Blvd., in the City of Los Angeles.  Mr. Brown declined to provide a statement to the Detectives investigating this matter.
