On November
17, 2004,
Detectives
from the
Santa Monica
Police
Department’s
Office of
Criminal
Investigations
developed
information
regarding a
criminal
organization
involved in
the
manufacturing
of
fraudulent
credit
cards,
checks,
passports,
and driver’s
licenses.
These items
were then
being used
to conduct
purchases
from various
stores
throughout
the areas of
Santa
Monica,
Beverly
Hills, and
West Los
Angeles.
Based upon
this
information,
a search
warrant was
obtained and
served on a
residence
located in
the 3600
block of
Greenfield
Ave in West
Los Angeles.
During the
service of
this search
warrant
several
computers,
printers,
narcotics
paraphernalia,
and over 100
items used
to
manufacture
fraudulent
checks and
commit
identity
theft were
seized from
inside of
the
residence
and its
garage.
The
occupants of
the
residence
were both
arrested.
They are
identified
as Alexander
Rizkalla
M/W, 51 and
Nora
Rizkalla
F/W, 40.
Both
suspects
were taken
to the Santa
Monica Jail
and booked
for identity
theft,
forgery and
narcotics
related
charges. The
suspect's
are
currently
being held
on
$250,000.00
bail.
