On
November 4, 2004, at
1:30 a.m., Santa Monica
Police Officers were
checking for subjects
sleeping in the doorway
on the 3rd
Street Promenade which
is a violation of the
Santa Monica Municipal
Code. While officers
where in the 1200 block
of the 3rd
Street Promenade they
made contact with a
subject sleeping in a
doorway. During their
preliminary
investigation, officers
discovered that this
subject was a wanted
parolee fugitive. The
suspect was identified
as Steven Mackey, M/B,
53, transient.
Mackey
was arrested for the
parole violation and
transported to the Santa
Monica Jail were he was
booked. No bail.
