The Santa Monica Police
Department’s Crimes Against
Property Unit is investigating a
series of residential
burglaries. The primary suspect
is the head of a Gypsies group
operating in the Southern
California area. The crimes
range from staged traffic
accidents to residential
burglaries by deception or
trickery. The suspects often
pose as contractors, gardeners,
utility company employees, or
even relatives of neighbors.
The suspects will distract the
victim while a co-suspect enters
the victim’s residence to steal
money or jewelry.
The wanted suspect is identified
as Michael Adams, AKA Michael
Ross, Male, White, 25 years of
age, 508, 220 pounds, having
black hair and brown eyes.
The suspect’s vehicle is
described as a large pick-up or
SUV but often change vehicles.

with information that leads to
