SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT |

On Saturday, July 10, 2004, the Santa Monica
Police Department will be conducting a
Driver's License/Sobriety Checkpoint in the
2000 block of Main Street. The checkpoint is
in accordance with a State of California -
Office of Traffic Safety grant in support of
the "You Drink & Drive. You Lose" national
campaign. The goal of the campaign is to
reduce the number of victims killed and
injured in alcohol-involved crashes in
cities participating in the program.
