HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION
June 30, 2004

On June 30, 2004, at 5:52 am, Santa Monica Police responded to the 1300 block of 6th Street regarding suspicious circumstances.  When officers arrived they located a deceased male adult, an apparent victim of an assault.  The Los Angeles County Coroners Office will determine the exact cause of death.

The victim’s identity is not being released, pending the notification of the next of kin.  The victim is described as a Male, Black, mid 30’s, homeless.
