BANK ROBBERY
SUSPECT IN CUSTODY
June 3, 2004

On June 2, 2004, at 9:17 a.m., Santa Monica Police responded to 501 Santa Monica Blvd., Citibank, regarding an armed robbery that just occurred.  Responding officers saw the suspect on foot in the 1300 block of Lincoln Blvd.  The suspect attempted to flee but was contained by officers.  A field show up was conducted and the suspect was positively identified. 

An undetermined amount of U.S. currency was recovered on the suspect.  The suspect is identified as Robin Bradley Cook, M/W 38 and resides in Venice.  The suspect was booked at the Santa Monica Jail and charged with bank robbery and his bail is set at $100,000.  Cook is currently on federal probation for bank robbery that he committed in Santa Monica in 1997.
