Press Release April 5, 2004: Hotel Fraud Suspect Pleads Guilty
HOTEL FRAUD SUSPECT PLEADS GUILTY
April 5, 2004

On March 5, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. Santa Monica Police arrested a suspect in the 1700 block of Ocean Ave. Apparently, the suspect was traveling nationwide using a fraudulent credit card to pay for his hotel rooms, car rentals and other expenses. The suspect was identified as Samuel Jackson, M/B, 23, of Beverly Hills.
On April 2, 2004, Samuel Jackson pled guilty to felony commercial burglary and is responsible for stealing over $250,000 in services and merchandise in just 3 months from merchants while pretending to be the son of the actor, Samuel L. Jackson.
He will serve 3 years in state prison to run concurrent with his 5-year felony probation violation. He is still wanted in Oklahoma for similar charges.
