The
Santa Monica Police Department is encouraging everyone to park their
vehicle safely and responsibly, and in a manner that prevents traffic
congestion.
Beginning
today and ending on Christmas, motorists in Santa Monica may be
contacted by a Traffic Services Officer (TSO) while parking their car.
A TSO is responsible for enforcement of all parking regulations
within the City. However,
during the final days before Christmas, they will not only be
enforcing illegal parking, but also rewarding safe and proper parking.
If
you are observed by a TSO being courteous, cautious, and promoting
public safety through relieving traffic congestion, you may be given a
“ticket” to the movies.
The Good Parking “Ticket” is good for admission and/or
concessions at the Loews Cineplex Movie Theatre located at 1441 3rd
Street Promenade.
The
Santa Monica Police Department encourages everyone to park and drive
safely at all times, but with the extra pressures of the holiday
season parking can be difficult.
We remind everyone to look out for each other and park safely,
because the Santa Monica Police Department Traffic Services Officers
will be looking out for you also…to give you a good parking
“ticket.”
