On September 26, 2003 at 9:21 p.m., Santa Monica Police responded to the
1400 block of 15th Street regarding a radio call of shots fired.
Officers responded to the location and while investigating this
incident, the Police Department received a call from a local hospital
regarding a gunshot victim in the emergency room.
Officers responded to the hospital and when they arrived they attempted
to speak to the victim.
The victim was uncooperative and refused to provide any
information regarding the shooting.
The victim received a gunshot wound to the left leg.
