On
March 14, 2003, at approximately 5:30 A.M., a sexual assault occurred
in the 1200 block of 21st Street.
A preliminary investigation revealed the suspect entered
through a bedroom window, brandished a weapon (not a firearm), and
sexually assaulted the occupant, a 26-year old female Santa Monica
resident.
The
suspect is described as a male, African-American, approximately
20-years old, 6’1” tall, medium to heavy build, short dark hair,
facial hair (possibly a goatee), wearing a dark gray jacket, orange
colored Hawaiian-print shirt, black pants, and a white visor-type hat.
The
investigation is on going.

leading to the identification of the person responsible for this crime
