On
March 3, 2003 at 2:30 P.M, Santa Monica Police Department was notified
by the Los Angeles Police Department of a dead body investigation
within the City of Los Angeles. When
Santa Monica detectives arrived, they viewed the body and determined
that the body had similarities to that of the missing person Kristine
Louise Johnson. The body
has been identified by Santa Monica Police Department as Kristine
Louise Johnson.
Investigators
are awaiting the arrival of the Coroners Office. The Los Angeles
County Coroners Office will make the positive identification.
Santa
Monica Police Department will be holding a press conference on March
4, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. The
press conference will be held in Santa Monica City Hall - Council
Chambers located at 1685 Main St, Santa Monica.
