On
May 30, 2002, at 10:15 p.m., Santa Monica Police responded to the area
of 17th Street and Delaware Ave. regarding a call of shots
fired. When
officers arrived they spoke to a bystander who saw the suspect’s
vehicle drive southbound on 17th Street in the 1800 block.
The suspect’s vehicle stopped and several shots were fired.
An unoccupied parked vehicle sustained minor gunshot damage. No
injuries were reported.
The
suspect’s vehicle is described as a newer dark colored SUV with
tinted windows.
