During the past several weeks officers assigned to the Pico Neighborhood Task Force have provided additional support to the officers assigned to the Pico Neighborhood.  Officers assigned to the task force are working closely with community members at providing the highest quality of law enforcement services. 

Effective, Friday, April 12, 2002, the Santa Monica Police Department will be receiving air support from the Hawthorne Police Department. The Hawthorne Police Department’s helicopter unit will work closely with officers assigned to the Pico Neighborhood Task Force as well as officers assigned to the Office of Operations.  The air support will be occasionally flying over Santa Monica and will provide assistance to the field units as requested.

Should complaints arise regarding excessive noise, persons are asked to direct their concerns to Sergeant David Thomas at Santa Monica Police Department Community Relations, 310/458-8471.
