ROBBERY

On November 20, 2001, at 9:10 p.m., a 37-year-old female resident of Santa Monica was found beaten in the 200 block of the bike path on the north beach. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is listed in serious condition.   

The initial information provided to investigators indicates that the victim was physically assaulted and may have been robbed, but due to the seriousness of the victim's injuries, there are no additional details available.  The victim was unable to give a description of the suspect(s) at this time. 

As more information on the incident and the suspect(s) becomes available, it will be released.
